Out of all the tests possible with these cameras it seems slow motion is the last on the list. However we have found some examples from both the Sony a7s in 720p 120fps mode and the Panasonic FZ1000 in 100fps full HD 1080.
Early in 2013 the near defunct name of Kodak as a camera maker was given some life support by having its name licensed by JK imaging Ltd. a start-up imaging company that is hard to know much about. See this article for some clarification.

Right on the rumor heels of the LX8 we get a new camera from Panasonic. The FZ1000 looks like a GH4 only larger and with a huge lens (Non Interchangeable). The specs on the camera surprised us and it follows our slow motion estimation for improvement.
Several sites have been trying out the Sony RX100 mk III and have finally been sharing their results along with video samples.
Sadly the 120fps 720pmode is resolution starved and soft. However it does look a little bit better than many cameras in the price bracket. After looking at the quality, we matched it to be just a smidge better than the iPhone 5s but just a tad below the GoPro Hero 3+ when it comes to 120fps slow motion. Specs wise not much is known but the claims say that a 1″ sensor and Electronic View Finder EVF not unlike that of the Sony RX100 mkIII will be the big upgrades. The Panasonic LX7 does great slow motion at 720p 120fps with quality too good for something this small. It will be premature to predict but the logical progression for the LX8 is to offer 120fps at 1080p and 240fps at 720p.
