There is a rumor that may become real in the coming days of the release of the HTC A55 Desire Phone with the Mediatek MT6795 chip capable of true slow motion in full HD 1080p at 480fps. The specs are as follows:
Next week January 6-9, in Las Vegas Nevada the 2015 CES show will take place. Usually the show doesn’t show much in the way of hi speed but a few gems have come out of the show in the past like the Panasonic W850 & V750 which a year later still hold their own as the best slow motion general purpose camcorders in quality with the 9th and 10th place in our slow-mo camera guide. These have recently come down in price considerably!
We are less than a month away from Photokina expo September 16 – 21, 2014 in Cologne Germany. That means all sorts of speculation and rumors are reaching the web with some credible to the absolutely far out ridiculous. Here are a few rumors that we have received from sources that claim are the real deal and could be somewhat credible. However these could all be speculative at best take them with a pinch of salt.
The Nikon 1 System is becoming more widespread with the arrival of the Nikon 1 J4. Sharing the same 1″ inch sensor size and a variety of Nikon 1 lens choices for the system. */ Hi Speed Cams doesn’t consider these resolutions to be usable for professional work. It might be good to have them for scientific purposes but not for video quality that can inter-cut with professionally shot material.
