Kipon AF Adapter for Canon EOS EF Ready!

A few weeks ago the Kipon full Auto focus, Iris and IS enabled EF to M43 adapter was announced. Many huge doubts lingered to it’s effectiveness in Auto Focus as any other AF adapter for the likes of Sony cameras for example take several seconds to lock onto a target.  The Kipon promises to be a seamless adapter for Canon EF lenses on Micro 4/3 system cameras like the Panasonic GH4.

Moto X 2015 Rumor With Better Slowmo Specs

The rumor mill is heating up when it comes to the third generation Moto X phone from Motorola Mobility. The struggling company subset of the once mighty Motorola went from selling their mobile phone arm to Google in 2011; which then offloaded in 2014 to Chinese Lenovo best known as a PC manufacturer that took over the manufacturing and re branding of IBM Laptops.

The Moto X has been a popular phone but not one with class leading specs.  As it turns out the rumors still follow the mantra of being a follower in feature set rather than being innovators.  The phones haven’t been stale hardware; far from it actually.  They are quality handsets that have enough features at a good price to compete with the likes of Samsung or Apple. → Continue Reading Full Post ←

Edgerton MIT offering high speed imaging course!

The MIT Edgerton Center is offering a new 4 day  in depth course in high speed imaging at their Cambridge, MA Campus. The Edgerton center is as you guessed it the DOC Edgerton building named after the famous high speed imaging researcher and inventor.  It is also the main inspiration for the edgertronic high speed camera. It could be a great way to get exposed to the latest gear from the top manufacturers of high speed cameras and learn techniques, lighting for hi speed and problem solving.
